On the path to the real world. Our bridge to the future.
The project "A bridge towards the Oste" is a common project which is being worked on by students from the Othmarschen secondary school as well as the Lycée Français de Hambourg, in cooperation with teachers, military mentors, our supporters and helpers as well as the initiators of this project.
As students, we are right at the beginning of our path of life. What we have in common, being students from the Othmarschen secondary school and the Lycée Français de Hambourg, is that we are all in the phase of the AbiBac (or the French Bac.) For this reason, the students from the Lycée Français de Hambourg are just before the next steps towards their independance, the students from Othmarschen secondary school face the same situation in 2011. There is something additional, that we have in common. A certain love for languages and open-mindedness for international affairs. A certain open-mindedness and the wish, to consider certain questions from different points
Was nach dem Schülerleben noch alles kommen wird, kann heute von uns wahrscheinlich jeder nur ahnen.
Dennoch ist klar; es geht mit diesem Projekt darum, eine Chance zu haben, gemeinsam Verantwortung zu übernehmen, Projekte zu gestalten, und die "erwachsene Welt" kennenlernen zu können.
An dieser Stelle sind wir dankbar für Vereine wie die American International Society in Hamburg e.V. die es uns erlauben, einen ersten Einblick in das echte Engagement, echter Vereine, für echte internationale Angelegenheiten darstellen.
Es ist toll sehen zu können, dass Sprachen nicht nur Sprachen bleiben, dass eine umfassende Auseinandersetzung nicht nur Prinzip im Klassenzimmer ist, sondern auch Anwendung in der realen Welt finden.
